Foods that worsen symptoms - Gluten

Most of the people with autoimmune disease, like RA, have a GLUTEN SENSITIVITY.  When we talk about gluten sensitivity it is a specific family of protein found in wheat, barley and rye.  
Humans have been eating wheat for thousands of years ... But why it is happening now? 
- New hybridized grain (much higher in gluten)
- Modern technology for processing wheat
... makes grains hard to digest, causes a leaky gut, which is one of the factors in developing RA.
