Homemade Mayo, Egg less Mayo and Tartar sauce recipes

Homemade Mayo (base)

1 large egg

1 tsp. organic pure lemon juice 

1 tsp. organic mustard (“Eden” brand)

Pinch sea salt

¾ cup (180 ml) avocado oil

Place egg, lemon juice, mustard, salt into the food processor mix together.  Add slow avocado oil while the food processor is running for about 30 second until a thick mixture forms.

  • To make a Flavored Mayo add 1 clove minced garlic, 1-2 Tbs. herb (dill, oregano, parsley, tarragon, chive, …) to the Homemade Mayo (base), mix well in the food processor. 

  • To make a Tartar sauce add ½ cup of minced pickles to the Homemade Mayo (base), mix well in the food processor. 

Egg-less Avocado Mayo

1 avocado

¼ cup of water

½ Tbs. organic pure lemon juice

1 Tbs. raw organic apple cider vinegar

½ tsp. organic mustard (“Eden” brand)

1 clove garlic, minced

Pinch sea salt

½ cup avocado oil

Place all ingredients except avocado oil into the food processor mix together.  Add slow avocado oil while the food processor is running until a thick mixture forms for about a minute.
