Homemade Mayo (base)
1 large egg
1 tsp. organic pure lemon juice
1 tsp. organic mustard (“Eden” brand)
Pinch sea salt
¾ cup (180 ml) avocado oil
Place egg, lemon juice, mustard, salt into the food processor mix together. Add slow avocado oil while the food processor is running for about 30 second until a thick mixture forms.
To make a Flavored Mayo add 1 clove minced garlic, 1-2 Tbs. herb (dill, oregano, parsley, tarragon, chive, …) to the Homemade Mayo (base), mix well in the food processor.
To make a Tartar sauce add ½ cup of minced pickles to the Homemade Mayo (base), mix well in the food processor.
